PVR Donations

PVR WILL DEEPLY APPRECIATE ANY DONATION THAT Y'ALL CHOOSE TO MAKE. CHECKS SHOULD BE MADE OUT TO ME (WILLIAM HOPPING) AND SENT TO MY HOME (2721 DOVER RD., AUGUSTA, KY 41002-8966). I WILL KEEP TRACK OF THE DONATIONS AND DEPOSIT THEM INTO PVR'S BANK ACCOUNT. I'LL ALSO TRACK SPENDING RELATED TO THE REBUILD.

DETAILS:

Recall PVR is run on a cost/cash basis, not for profit. Income has paid for the free water/soft drinks/coffee, ice, hotdog lunch we all enjoy, clubhouse/range/target maintenance, portapotty rental, liability insurance, ... Things have been that way from PVR's start in 2006. The fees have not gone up but rather have remained unchanged for those 16 years. Some reserve is needed for the unexpected, one-time or infrequent expenses such as gravel for the driveway (last done in 2019), targets like the Falling Tombstones and Texas Star, etc.

For those interested in more detail, PVR's bank account (USBank, Augusta, KY) is in my name as a senior (65+) which means no fees. My wife, Cynthia, is also on the account in case something happens to me (she's informed of the details). I deposit intake (memberships, match fees) into the account and write checks to pay/reimburse appropriate expenses having documentation. I review financials with Buffalo Bud after every match and provide the Leadership Team with regular updates.

Donations will be deposited into this account and rebuild expenses taken from it. As noted above, I'll track donations and rebuild spending, keeping the Leadership Team updated.
