There is a road closure on 129 north of Cross Plains. You should be able to use local back roads to detour the construction, the official INDOT page has the details here.

Between E 750 S and E 650 S (5 to 6 miles south of the Versailles area). The road is closed. Look out for construction work. See map for detour(s). Until November 7, 2025 at about 5:00PM EDT.
Comment: SR 129 will be closed for 45 days on/after Sept 23, 2025 for scour protection work.
